The Swiss Army 24798 is a classic Swiss Army design. For years, I have loved the aesthetic values of Swiss Army as a brand with their semi-rugged appeal, and all-around functionality. I think this Swiss watch brand makes a really good combination of form and function.

In practical terms, this means that only another sapphire or a diamond is capable of scratching the dial crystal. The dial is black with oversized Arabic numeral hour markers. At 12 the Arabic numeral is replaced by the Swiss Army logo. The date aperture is located at the 3 position on this model. On the flange there is a conservative railroad minute track, and a 24 hour scale. The 24 hour scale corresponds to a central GMT hand, which indicates a second time zone.
